HOW TO HELP
You can help us conserve wild and working lands in Oregon’s high desert. Whether you choose to give your time, money or land, we are grateful for your generosity. Every gift matters and contributes to this incredible region and the land, water, people, and wildlife it supports.
Be a friend to Oregon’s high desert:
Your support ensures that the Land Trust can safeguard the land we have acquired and can seize opportunities as they arise. If you’re considering making a large donation, please reach out so we can discuss the best way to process your gift.
When you donate to Oregon Desert Land Trust, you’ll receive prompt acknowledgment of your gift—plus our deep gratitude! And we will make sure you stay informed of our ongoing work through our monthly email newsletter.
Oregon Desert Land Trust is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our Tax ID# is 82-2857455. Your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law.
We wouldn’t be here without landowners who care about Oregon’s high desert. When you donate wild or working land, you contribute to the health of our region’s ecology and community. You can help connect critical habitat for wildlife, preserve wide open ranch land, improve public access for recreation, and strengthen the local economy.
You can also donate houses and properties that do not have significant conservation value; we leverage these properties to acquire land that furthers conservation goals in the region.
Interested in donating land?
It’s easy to make a gift of stock to Oregon Desert Land Trust—and there are big benefits to you. A gift of appreciated stock allows you to make a larger contribution than a cash donation and also helps you save on taxes. If you would like to make a stock donation, please contact us or your financial advisor.
You can also make a qualified charitable donation through your IRA. Doing so can satisfy your required minimum distribution. Consult your financial advisor for guidance.
